Essence is a reflection of life itself. Black, white, and shades of gray symbolize the experiences and circumstances that shape us—reminders that life is rarely absolute, but often layered in nuances of gray. The use of black in impasto speaks of the raw energy we carry in our early years, a vitality that gradually softens as the body ages. Black—formed by the absorption of all colors—embodies the life cycle in its physical dimension, teaching us spiritual wisdom through the countless "colored" experiences we absorb along the way. The incomplete circular form evokes both the image of a clock and the boundless nature of infinity—suggesting that while our physical time is finite, our soul, our essence, endures eternally. Inspired by Sacred Geometry, Essence is painted on a square canvas to symbolize the body, while the circle within represents the soul—our truest and infinite essence.
