Maanyaa picked up a paintbrush before she ever held a pen. Taught by her father at just two years old, her love for painting began early and grew steadily with time.
Throughout her childhood, she found joy in the act of creating through art. At a young age, she was so passionate about painting that she even considered leaving school to pursue it full-time. Determined to nurture this love, she continued to practice regularly and chose art as an elective subject so she could keep doing what she loved. Her dedication paid off when she achieved the top rank in Art during her 10th grade.
She chose to enroll in a fine art university to deepen her understanding of art. There, she had the opportunity to experiment with a variety of styles and mediums. This exploration eventually led her to discover the style that resonated most with her: realism. She felt a profound connection to it—it wasn’t just a preference but a long-held dream to be able to draw and paint in that way. In 2017, she earned a degree in painting, laying a strong foundation for her artistic journey.
Seeking deeper mastery, she went on to train at the prestigious Angel Academy of Art in Florence in 2019 and again in 2022. There, she honed her skills and studied the art of realism in the tradition of Renaissance masters, surrounded by artworks that once shaped history. Under the guidance of exceptional teachers at the Academy, she refined her technique and deepened her understanding of her craft.
Through years of exploration and practice, Maanyaa developed a unique ability to evoke emotion through her art. Each of her paintings is an emotional experience—one that resonates personally with each viewer. She tells stories not with words, but with objects, atmosphere, and feeling—guided by a deep understanding of color, light, and composition. Her work invites you not just to look, but to feel.
