The absolute black on beige is not accidental: it is the negation of color that competes to affirm the pure form, to highlight it, volume as the primary and unique language. The arrangement of these rectangular and cubic elements evokes my search for my metaphysical empty box, that spiritual receptacle where humankind can find itself. The projected shadows are as important as the solid forms; together they construct an emotional work that transcends the merely physical. There is no ornamentation, no concession to the decorative: only the true structure of form in space, the honesty of the material presented without masks. The space between the forms is the true protagonist, that active void where Spiritual Energy dwells.
