This surreal oil painting, measuring 139×189 cm (Height/Width), captivates with its intense imagery. Dominating the canvas is a distorted, almost grotesque, face, rendered with a remarkable level of detail. The figure’s skin appears melted or decaying, creating a visceral and unsettling effect. A dark, feathered wing emerges from the side of the head, juxtaposing the earthly decay with a suggestion of flight or spiritual ascension. A handgun rests ominously near the figure’s temple, adding a layer of danger and potential violence. Musical instruments, including a trumpet and French horn, float within the composition, perhaps symbolizing creativity or a lost passion. Red lines crisscross the background, adding a dynamic element and drawing the eye across the canvas. Golden orbs and swirling patterns further enhance the dreamlike, surreal atmosphere. The overall effect is both haunting and thought-provoking, prompting reflection on themes of mortality, art, and the human condition. Categories: Lienzo, Espiritual, Surrealismo, Aceite, Ninguno. Well, I wanted to tell you that I was traveling, and when I got back, I didn't know where to hang the artwork. After thinking about it for a long time, I decided on a spot. And well, Once it was there, I realized two things: That the painting is truly beautiful and that the location didn't matter so much; any place is a good place for it. Seriously, the artwork is beautiful.
Greetings from “Renacer” in Mexico. We've been here for almost two years now, accompanied by this beautiful creation.
I smile every single one of the 54 times I pass by the paintings during the day. I never imagined art had such power. I feel so grateful to have these works in my home, and I hope art continues to brighten many more homes.
