At Elisium Art, we are dedicated to connecting collectors with extraordinary works of original fine art. We understand that acquiring a new piece of art is a significant and personal decision. Our primary goal is to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your acquisition and that the artwork brings you joy for years to come. This policy is designed to provide you with confidence and peace of mind when you purchase from our curated collection.
The 7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
We offer a 7-day satisfaction guarantee on all original artworks sold through our platform. If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you may initiate a return within 7 calendar days from the date you receive the artwork. To be eligible for a return, your request must be communicated to us within this 7-day period.
Eligibility for Returns
To ensure a smooth process and protect the integrity of the unique artworks we represent, all returned items must meet the following conditions:
Conditions for Return
- The artwork must be in its original, undamaged condition, free from any alterations, wear, or damage.
- The artwork must be returned in its original, custom packaging. This packaging is specifically designed for the artwork’s protection, and its use is essential for a safe return transit.
- All accompanying documents, including the Certificate of Authenticity, must be returned with the artwork.
Valid Reasons for Return
We accept returns for the following reasons:
- The artwork arrived damaged or defective.
- You received an incorrect artwork.
- The artwork was significantly misrepresented in its online listing on our platform.
- You have had a change of mind and are not fully satisfied with the artwork.
Items Not Eligible for Return
Due to their unique nature, the following items are considered Final Sale and are not eligible for return or refund:
- Commissioned Artworks: Any piece created on special order for a specific collector.
- Altered Artworks: Any artwork that has been stretched, framed, installed, or otherwise altered in any capacity after being received by the collector.
- Gift Cards or any other digital products.
The Return Process: A Step-by-Step Guide
Please follow these steps to ensure a secure and efficient return:
a. Step 1: Fill up the form to initiate your return
Fill up form: https://www.elisium.art/contactus within 7 days of receiving your artwork. Please select “Cancellation/Return Request” in the contact reason dropdown. You must provide your order number and a brief reason for the return in the “Message” box. For damaged items, please share clear photographs of the damage to the artwork and the packaging at support@elisium.art
b. Step 2: Await Approval & Instructions
We will acknowledge your return request within 48 business hours. Once your request is reviewed, we will provide you with detailed instructions for the return, including the correct return shipping address. Please do not ship the artwork before receiving these instructions.
c. Step 3: Package the Artwork Securely
Carefully repackage the artwork in its original packaging. It is imperative that the artwork is secured exactly as it was when you received it to prevent damage during return shipping. Elisium Art is not liable for damage incurred during return transit due to improper packaging.
d. Step 4: Ship the Artwork
For all discretionary (“change of mind”) returns, you are responsible for paying for the return shipment which will be deducted from the refund amount. We will arrange a reputable, trackable, and fully insured courier service for safe return (including insurance). Please share the tracking information with us once the artwork has been dispatched from your place. For returns of damaged or incorrect art, we will arrange and cover the cost of the return shipment separately.
Refunds and Processing
Our refund process is determined by the reason for the return.
- For Discretionary Returns (“Change of Mind”):
Once the artwork is safely received and inspected by our gallery team and confirmed to be in its original condition, we will process your refund. The refund will be for the full purchase price of the artwork, less a fixed processing fee of 20% of the artwork price. This fee contributes to the administrative and handling
costs associated with processing the return of a unique piece of fine art. The original shipping costs are non-refundable, and you are responsible for the return shipping costs.
- For Damaged, Incorrect, or Misrepresented Artworks:
If a return is initiated due to damage in transit, receipt of an incorrect piece, or a significant misrepresentation on our website, you will receive a full refund. This includes the full artwork price and the original shipping costs. Elisium Art will also bear the full cost of the return shipping. There is no processing fee for gallery-fault returns.
- Refund Timeline:
All refunds will be processed to your original method of payment. In compliance with local government guidelines, we will effect the payment for your accepted refund within 7-10 business days of the artwork being safely received and inspected at our gallery. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to post the refund to your account.
Damaged, Incorrect, or Misrepresented Artworks
In the unfortunate event that your artwork arrives damaged, or if you receive the wrong piece, please contact our Grievance Officer immediately via Email (support@elisium.art), and no later than 48 hours after delivery.
To help us resolve the issue quickly, please provide:
I. Your order number.
II. Clear photographs of the damaged area of the artwork.
III. Photographs of the exterior and interior of the packaging.
These images are essential for us to file an insurance claim and improve our shipping processes. We will work with you to arrange for the return and to process a full refund or, if possible and desired, a repair or replacement.
Order Cancellations
You may cancel your order at any time before it has been dispatched from our gallery. To cancel an order, please contact us immediately with your order number. If the order is cancelled before shipment, you will receive a full refund. If the artwork has already been dispatched, the order cannot be cancelled and must be treated as a return in accordance with this policy. In compliance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, Elisium Art will not impose any cancellation charges on a consumer for cancelling an order prior to its dispatch.

Your trust is of the utmost importance to us. In compliance with Local Government’s Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, we have appointed a dedicated Grievance Officer to ensure the timely and effective resolution of all customer concerns and complaints.
