La Real Academia del Oeste de Inglaterra (RAO) es una de las galerías de arte más antiguas de Bristol. La RWA alberga cinco galerías y un programa de exposiciones que celebra lo mejor del arte británico, tanto histórico como contemporáneo, y se encuentra en el Grado II. La academia cuenta con más de 1700 colecciones permanentes, que incluyen pinturas, dibujos, grabados, esculturas, artefactos y maquetas arquitectónicas. Algunas obras de arte incluyen "Paisaje de verano" de John Whitlock Cordner y "Pueblo de Cotswold, bajo la nieve" de Alastair Federick Flattely.
