La Galería y Museo Victoria, gestionada por la Universidad de Liverpool, alberga una diversa colección de arte contemporáneo y objetos históricos. El edificio fue diseñado por el arquitecto victoriano Alfred Waterhouse. La colección de arte de la Galería comprende alrededor de 6.500 piezas de bellas artes, esculturas, muebles, cerámica, cristal y platería. La Galería exhibe las obras británicas más conocidas, como «Snowdon a la luz de la luna» de Joseph Wright en Derby y «La erupción de las montañas Soufrière en la isla de San Vicente, 30 de abril de 1812» de J. M. W. Turner. La Galería también cuenta con una cafetería llamada Waterhouse Café.
