El Centro de Artes de Newcastle es un centro de bellas artes y artes escénicas fundado en 1981. Fue inaugurado oficialmente por el rey Carlos III en 1988. El centro de arte también expuso el "Retrato Norteño" en 2017, cuando tres artistas, Aidan Doyle, Charlie Parker y Steve Lyon-Bowes, se unieron para mostrar sus peculiares enfoques artísticos del retrato.
