La escalera del Museo, conocida como la Gran Escalera, exhibe pinturas de Gustav Klimt, Franz Matsch y otros. Algunas de las obras destacadas de la pinacoteca incluyen la "Virgen del Prado" (1506) y "Santa Margarita y el Dragón" (1518) de Rafael, entre otras obras destacadas.
