Welfare is a very deeply human collection. It explores care, protection and the very emotional foundations of life. It reflects the idea that art can nurture, comfort and create a very meaningful connection within a space. This collection does not just sit on a wall. It feels like it genuinely belongs in the space around it, and it changes that space's energy in a very quiet, very real way.

Curated by Eli Rivers, this collection brings together a very compelling global dialogue. It features four very distinct and deeply expressive artists. Arun Sharma, Thokozani Mthiyane, Ksenia La Hun and Arup Choudhary. Each one brings a very different, very personal understanding of care, protection, and human connection to the collection. Arun Sharma reinterprets traditional Indian motifs, particularly from Pichwai and folk traditions. He transforms the symbols, like the sacred cow, into expressions of protection and abundance. His work carries a deep respect for tradition, but he also brings a fresh modern energy to everything he creates. There is a very strong sense of cultural pride in his paintings, and they feel very grounded and spiritually connected at the same time. His compositions are very detailed and carefully considered, and they carry a very lasting visual warmth that feels comforting to be around.
Thokozani Mthiyane adds a poetic, intellectual layer to the collection through his Meditation on Ancient Poetry series. His work translates very old oral traditions into bold, modern compositions. Arup Choudhary complements the collection with expressive works that celebrate freedom, innocence, and the resilient spirit of the human being. His compositions feel very open and alive, and they carry a joyful, uplifting energy. There is a genuine warmth in everything he creates, and it adds a crucial lightness to the collection that balances the more contemplative voices around him very well.
Together, these four artists create a collection that moves very far beyond just aesthetics. Their works act as very strong emotional anchors within a space. They reinforce themes of empathy, connection and a very universal harmony that feels very necessary and very real in today’s world.
