Sreya Gupta is an Indian contemporary artist known for her vibrant and detailed figurative paintings, often infused with elements of realism and pop art. Inspired by the natural world, particularly birds and botanicals, Gupta's art is a celebration of color, texture, and the intricate beauty of the environment. Her work champions bird conservation, portraying unique avian species amidst lush foliage and vibrant floral arrangements. Her distinctive style is marked by a bright color palette, meticulously detailed subjects, and lush botanical backdrops.
Gupta's formal art education began with a Diploma in Visual Art (Painting, Art History, and Aesthetics) from Bangiya Sangeet Parishad, affiliated with Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata (2004-2011). She further honed her skills at Birla Academy of Art and Culture, specializing in painting and earning a BVA in 2015. Expanding her creative horizons, Gupta also pursued a Master's in Gem and Jewelry Design from Sawansukha Institute of Gemology and Jewelry Design (2016-2017), integrating her artistic talents with the intricate world of jewelry design.
