Roma Nayak is an emerging artist specializing in abstract and fine art painting. Her artistic journey is fueled by a passion for capturing the essence of human emotion and the beauty of the natural world, drawing inspiration from both literary works and musical harmonies. Her work explores themes of introspection, memory, and the interplay of light and shadow, often incorporating geometric elements and dynamic compositions.

Nayak's artistic foundation is rooted in a diverse educational background. She holds a Bachelor of Fashion Technology from the prestigious National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Mumbai, graduating in 2008. This experience instilled in her a keen eye for detail, an understanding of form and structure, and a deep appreciation for the creative process. Her early career focused on fashion design, working with renowned brands like Reliance Retail, Lifestyle International, and House of Anita Dongre. This design background informs her artistic approach, bringing a unique perspective to her paintings.

Throughout her decade-long journey in the art world, Nayak has garnered recognition for her distinctive style and evocative imagery. Notably, she developed a Sabai Grass craft cluster in collaboration with the State Institute for Development of Art and Craft, Odisha, which was showcased at an international trade fair in 2010. This accomplishment underscores her dedication to artistic innovation and her commitment to promoting traditional crafts.
