Ram Barkhane

I am a contemporary and abstract artist, 32 years old, exploring diverse mediums, active since 2011. My artistic journey began as a live portrait artist in Bhopal, later enriched by diplomas, graduation, and post-graduation from Sarbabharatiya Sangeet-O-Sanskriti Parishad, Kolkata. Over the years, I have worked as a teacher and creative artist in schools, colleges, and cultural institutions. Today, I dedicate myself fully to art—working from my own studio, creating original works, and guiding fine art and design students through my art classes.
I work on canvas and sheets and publish at digital plateforms like Blogger, facebook, instagram, youtube, pintrest and X (Twiter).

Barkhane's formal art education began with the Sarbabhartiya Sangeet-o-Sanskriti Parishad, Kolkata, where he earned his Visharad (Bachelor in Arts equivalent) and Ratna (Master in Arts equivalent) degrees. His early career was marked by participation in group exhibitions and a dedication to honing his skills through workshops and immersive experiences. He explored diverse artistic mediums and techniques, including 3D drawing and landscape painting, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and artistic growth. This early experimentation laid the groundwork for his distinctive style, blending traditional influences with contemporary artistic sensibilities.
Throughout his 15-year career, Barkhane has garnered recognition for his artistic contributions. In 2016, he received a Silver Medal in a Merit Test conducted by the Sarbabhartiya Sangeet-o-Sanskriti Parishad, Kolkata. This accolade underscores his artistic talent and dedication to his craft. He has also actively participated in several curated exhibitions and events, including "Kala-Kumbh" in Bhopal, further solidifying his presence within the Indian art scene. His work continues to evolve, captivating viewers with its expressiveness and unique perspective.
