Niharika Agarwal, a dedicated artist with a profound passion for painting since childhood, has continually explored the expansive realm of art forms. Her artistic journey is rooted in deep engagement with society, human emotions, and the struggles that shape the human experience. Her work transcends conventional boundaries, reflecting themes of identity, personal narratives, and social norms through a nuanced visual language.
Her exploration of rural areas and metro cities, and communication with diverse communities, has informed her research since 2016—enriching her artistic voice with authenticity and empathy. Niharika’s art often employs symbolism to invite introspection and spark dialogue around cultural heritage and the complexities of modern life.
She has been actively involved in teaching as a private art tutor since 2013 and taught art history between 2016–2020. Since 2018, she has also contributed to social engagement through event planning and continues to curate exhibitions from 2022 onward.
Her contributions have been widely recognized. She received a silver medal at the AGNIPATH RANG BARSE Group Art Exhibition 2018, and secured 3rd position in Rangotsav 2017. Her work was selected in the top 12 at both the Regional Arts Exhibition 2018 and Express Your Ideas Through Colors 2017. She participated in the Bird Festival Photography Competition 2019, organized by the Van Vibhag and WWF.
