Martin OC

Martin OC's artistic path is marked by a self-taught approach to art. His journey includes a series of solo exhibitions, beginning in 2007 with "Exhibition of Paintings" in Thrissur and in 2001 in Palakkad, and continuing with shows like "Waiting for a New Vision" in Kochi (2006), "A DRIFT" in Mumbai (2008), "REFLECTIONS" (2011) and "UNTITLED" (2016) in Thrissur, and most recently, "THE GREEN" in Eranakulam (2022).
His engagement with the art world extends beyond solo shows to significant participation in group exhibitions across India. These include regional exhibitions in Chennai (2014), summer show in Kolkata (2011), and various shows in Kochi, Bangalore, and New Delhi. His recent participations include "The art of India" curated by Dr. Alka Pande (2024) and "PRESENCE OF ABSENCE IN MAN THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM" in New Delhi (2025).
In addition to exhibitions, Martin has actively contributed to the art community through involvement in numerous art camps and workshops. These include state art camps organized by the Kerala Lalitha Kala Akademi, national painters' camps, and camps hosted by galleries and hotels in various locations, including Mumbai, Irinjalakuda, and the Maldives.
His works have found their place in notable collections, including those of R.P.G Group, Harmony Foundation, and the Museum of Art & Photography (MAP) in India. Throughout his career, Martin has received recognition for his artistic endeavors, with Honorable Mentions and a State Award from the Kerala Lalitha Kala Akademi.
