Ellyse Perry is a visual artist with 10 years of experience, specializing in acrylics on canvas. Her work reveals a passion for capturing everyday moments, transforming them into vibrant expressions of color and form reminiscent of Expressionism and Impressionism. Perry's portfolio showcases a diverse range of subjects, from landscapes to portraits, highlighting her versatility and dedication to her craft.

Inspired by the interplay of light and shadow, Perry employs bold brushstrokes and vivid hues to evoke emotion and atmosphere. Ellyse Perry is a contemporary artist whose work explores themes of memory, emotion, and the human condition. Her artistic style is characterized by a vibrant use of color and expressive brushstrokes, often drawing inspiration from both Expressionism and Impressionism. Perry’s formal artistic journey began with a Diploma in Painting from Sheth C.N. College of Fine Arts in Ahmedabad in 1982. Her early career was marked by a dedication to exploring different mediums and styles, including acrylics, watercolors, and mixed media. She immersed herself in the study of both classical and contemporary masters, honing her technical skills while simultaneously developing her own unique artistic language. This period of exploration laid a solid foundation for her later work, allowing her to confidently experiment with a diverse range of subjects and techniques.

Over the course of her career, Perry has garnered recognition for her evocative and thought-provoking artwork. She has participated in over 30 group exhibitions throughout India, including shows in Ahmedabad, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, and Mumbai. Her solo exhibitions, "Amdavad Ni Gufa" (2017) and "Premrang" (2022) in Ahmedabad, further solidified her reputation as a significant emerging talent. She has also been honored with numerous awards including the National Kalidasa Exhibition Award (2016) and the Gujarat Lalitkala Academy Award (1981, 2018, 2021).
