Amar Singha is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans abstract, figurative, and fine art painting. Inspired by a lifelong quest for deeper truths, his art delves into the untranslatable realms of human experience, often exploring themes of spirituality, loss, and the search for meaning. His distinctive style blends vibrant colors, expressive lines, and symbolic imagery, captivating viewers with its emotional depth and evocative storytelling.
Singha’s formal art education began at the Academy of Creative Arts in Kolkata, where he honed his technical skills and developed his artistic voice. However, his father's passing during his final year profoundly impacted his trajectory. This led him on a sixteen-year spiritual journey, a period of intense self-discovery and artistic exploration that ultimately shaped his unique perspective. Upon re-emerging, Singha established his home studio in Raghunathganj, where he continues to create and inspire.
Throughout his 12-year career, Singha has garnered significant recognition, including the Special Recognition Award from LST Gallery, Florida, and the Honorable Mention Award from IVAC, New York. He has also received the Award of Excellence from Artavita, Los Angeles, the Award of Outstanding Art from Arte Mundial En México, and the Platinum Award from the Kalaratnam Foundation in India. His influence extends beyond the canvas, as he is also a published author, blogger, and brand ambassador, sharing his insights and passion for art with a global audience.
