Aaishwarya Pawar's artistic journey is a rich tapestry woven from diverse experiences in fine arts, graphic design, and education. A native of Mumbai, Adishwarya's passion for art began early, culminating in a strong educational background that includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Raheja School of Arts and a Master of Fine Arts from J.J. School of Arts. This solid foundation allowed her to explore and develop a unique artistic voice, one that often navigates the space between abstraction and figuration.
Aaishwarya's work is deeply women-centric, drawing inspiration from personal experiences and observations to create art that captures the strength, vulnerability, and transformation of the female figure. She uses a language of contrast, where bold patches meet muted tones, to create a visual tension that reflects the inner emotional landscapes she seeks to express. Through her paintings, which explore themes of visibility, softness, and power, she masterfully uses color, texture, and negative space to capture the fluid and layered nuances of identity.
In addition to her studio practice, Aaishwarya has dedicated a significant part of her career to teaching, sharing her passion with the next generation of artists. She has extensive experience as an Art & Craft and Visual Art teacher at various schools, including AVM (ICSE) School, R.N. Shah International School, and Rainbow International School. Her eight years of teaching experience, including two years in the MYP section, highlight her dedication to art education.
Beyond the classroom, Aaishwarya's work extends into commissioned projects and collaborations. She has created mural art for various locations, including Zostel and a play school in Borivali, and has also worked as an Executive Graphic Designer at Karma Global Consultancy Firm. Her diverse experiences in fine art, graphic design, and teaching have collectively shaped her artistic journey, making her a versatile and passionate artist committed to exploring emotion and identity through her compelling work. She was also part of the Kala Spandan Women's Art Society in 2022.
