Information About Artwork

This intriguing acrylic painting on canvas, measuring 45x54 inches (HxW), depicts a surreal scene of everyday life transformed into a fantastical narrative. A large, cylindrical metal container, reminiscent of a silo or water tank, dominates the composition. The container, rendered in shades of blue and silver, features visible rivets and seams, giving it a tangible, industrial feel. Attached to this seemingly mundane object are a pair of large, feathered wings, painted in delicate shades of light blue. This unique piece invites viewers to contemplate themes of industry, nature, and the extraordinary within the ordinary. The detailed rendering of the ants and the ethereal wings adds a sense of wonder and mystery. This artwork is a captivating example of figurative art, bridging the gap between realism and imagination. My art is a language of emotions, where colors and forms become voices of the unheard. I work across diverse mediums—oil, watercolor, pastel, ink, charcoal, and most intimately, acrylic—to translate my reflections on society. TIFFIN – A Dream Box of Common People is part of my series Empty Desires, rooted in the social and political landscapes that shape our collective existence. This work captures the life of migrants and ordinary people—their silent struggles, fleeting joys, fragile dreams, and unfulfilled desires. It reveals how society and politics extract their strength, only to discard them, forcing them back into invisibility. Through symbolism, I depict the ant as the resilient common man, and the circle as the consuming metropolis. The tiffin, humble yet profound, becomes a miraculous container of hope—a vessel that safeguards the dreams and survival of those who endure. tags: art, painting, canvas, acrylic painting, figurative art, everyday life, surrealism, ants, wings, metal container, industrial art, nature, insects, fine art, wall art, home decor, original art size: 45X54 (Height/Width) in inches Categories: Canvas, Everyday Life, Figurative, Acrylic, None
