Information About Artwork

Crisis is journey of my life which began, when I was 5 years old, we were thrown out of our home. It was raining and it was late night on one fine winter day along with my mother and younger sister, We were homeless because of my father’s conflict with his family. Later on, we were kept locked in one room for 12 years in a house of 8 rooms. In reality we had no access to that other space. With time, I came to understand and realized about the cruelty of life by our own. My childhood started with fear and I began to wonder “why us? What was our fault? There was so much more to life that we were yet to experience. Through the trauma of displacement and confinement, I learned resilience. I preferred being delusional and started my day dreaming and imagining about better life where I was being loved and valued because at the end of the day, it was just another room full of terrors.
